From Internet Explorer
- Choose the option Start and then All Programs. Select Internet Explorer from the list and launch it.
- Once the Internet Explorer browser comes up, select the Pencil icon located on right end of the Yahoo toolbar.
- Choose the option Help and then choose Uninstall toolbar. This will take you to the Uninstall page.
- Choose the option Uninstall and this will remove Yahoo toolbar from the browser.
- Restart Internet Explorer and you will find that the toolbar is no longer present in it.
- Open Mozilla Firefox by double-clicking its shortcut icon.
- Once the browser opens up, select the option Tools and then click Add-ons.
- The above step will open another tab with the heading Add-ons Manager.
- Choose the option Extensions from the left pane and this will list the add-ons or toolbars in your computer.
- Highlight Yahoo toolbar from the list by clicking it. Choose the option Remove and this will remove the toolbar instantly from the browser.
- You will receive a message stating Yahoo toolbar has been removed. You may click the option Restart now for the changes to take effect immediately.
